This Gathering was held in a most unusual setting. Most of the attendees were encouraged to bring tents, and the "CMG Tent City" was born! The site was a Buddhist retreat and community, with a huge, colorful laughing Buddha inside a gigantic cloth-covered temple, where the Community Gatherings were also held. The camp, built on a steep hillside, had few amenities and a small dining hall; it was indeed the smallest camp where the CMG has been held. Despite its shortcomings, the camp provided an enormous spiritual energy, felt by all who attended.
